Happy New Year! Thank you PLN for An Awesome 2017!

I began the Teacher Reboot Camp blog in 2009. It amazes me so many of you are still here as I continue to grow as an educator and learner. When I first started blogging, I didn’t realize I would have 8 years of ideas, resources, and knowledge to share. However, I find the more I exchange thoughts and ideas with all of you, the more I want to explore and discover.

Connecting with educators online has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only am I excited about teaching but I feel as if I can always find solutions for any problem I experience in the classroom. Having a support network makes me a more confident and successful teacher.

I also count many of you as friends. This past year many of you got to see my first child, Savannah, grow and develop. Many of you got to meet her at the ISTE conference or saw her develop online. On January 6th she will be 1 years old. My hope is that she will continue to be surrounded by brilliant connected educators like you.

Thank you for going on this journey with me for the past eight years. This journey has taken me to over 20 countries and inspired me to write 3 books, including one recently released in November, Hacking Digital Learning Strategies with EdTech Missions. I’m excited for what lies ahead in 2018.
