ISTE Highlights: Supporting New Teachers

ntchatOn Tuesday, June 28th, I took part in the New and Pre-service Teacher Support event organized by Lisa Dabbs (@teachwithsoul) and sponsored by Amazon Inspire. Presentations were given by  @teachwithsoul@ShellTerrell,  @TanyaAvrith, and @KleinErin about parent engagement, social media in schools, classroom design, Twitter for new teachers, and web tools for new teachers. A special thanks to Heidi Carr (@carr_8), who livestreamed the event and Craig Yen (@CraigYen) who sketchnoted the event. Below find resources from the event, including a Periscope introducing our participants and their thoughts for supporting new teachers.
