Jokes for Chase
I am always looking for an activity involving character education. Students do not get enough of these lessons. Stacy Bodin shares an opportunity for your students to learn about the gift of laughter for healing. Your students or you can leave a joke for Chase, a boy who has Leukemia. If you have never used Voicethread, then this is an opportunity to try this fantastic educational tool.
Stop Motion Videos
Larry Ferlazzo often shares wonderful links via Twitter and through his educational blog. When I checked out this link to 50 inspirational stop motion videos, I had to share. Vimeo is another great educational tool I recommend. I will have my English language learners choose their favorite video and create a story, poem, or journal entry about the piece. Check out my favorite of the videos, A Short Love Story by Carlos Lascano, which brought back beautiful memories of falling in love!

Cool Chemistry!
Christina DiMicelli shares a video about the period table of elements from the famous group, They Might be Giants. Students will have fun remembering the elements with this cool video.
Digital Learners
EdtechSandyK shares an Edutopia video about digital learners that is creative and great for professional development.
Web 2.0 Tools Glogster
Arjana Blazic shares her favorite Web 2.0 tools through this creative Glogster. I highly recommend Glogster as an innovative presentation tool for students. Replace all poster projects easily with Glogster. For a creative use of Glogster, have your students join Arjana’s Glogsters from the world project!
