Professional Development Website

Cel Foster shared an incredible site she created for teacher professional development. Cel put a lot of work into the website and I recommend the website for all educators to share with fellow teachers. She has also included a terrific Glogster of various links and tools for topics, such as copyright information, tutorials, video links, and more!

Google Lit Trips

Paula White is an incredible resource of #edtech tools and links. She shared a link to Google Lit Trips which allows students to explore literature by traveling through the regions mentioned in a book using Google Earth. The website has trips listed for various grade levels and offers advice on integrating this technology into the classroom.

List of Videos for Learning

Giselda dos Santos shared a link that lists 40 video sites that are suitable for education. You may find some you did not know about!

Ipod Touch & 8-year-olds

Michael Josefowicz shares a link to an inspirational video about a teacher who has given each of his eight year-old students an Ipod touch! I have included the video below!

Zoho

Zoho is a new edtech website I learned about this week. Martin Jorgensen shared the links with his preference for Google Docs. I love Google Docs as well, but Zoho is definitely worth a check! For more information on how to use Zoho with students, check out this great video tutorial that Jerry Swiatek created. You can use this video tutorial to teach your students to easily collaborate on presentations using Zoho!
